Building with blocks
Use slash commands to insert questions, layout, and media.
Everything in a Parrotform document is a block.
Insert a block
Type / on an empty line and choose from the catalog: questions, inputs, layout, embeds, and advanced blocks.
Common blocks
- Questions — multiple choice, checkboxes, dropdown, rating, linear scale, matrix, ranking
- Inputs — short/long answer, email, phone, number, link, date, time, file upload, signature
- Layout — headings, text, divider, page break, thank-you page
- Embeds — image, video, audio, generic embed
Tips
- Keep one idea per question.
- Use page breaks for longer flows.
- Prefer short answer over long answer unless you need paragraphs.
